Product Care / Misc Info

Acrylics

♢ If your charm/standee appears foggy/scratched, please peel off the protective plastic film! I will peel a small lip of it up for you for ease of removal.

♢ Standees may appear foggy after some time displayed, especially in the sun or dusty places. This can be fixed by wiping down with a cloth.

♢ Standees may require some force to stick into the base. I test all standees before shipping out and sand down those that require it for fitting.

♢ Shaker charms with glitter *will* have the glitter/sequins get stuck along the edges. Unfortunately that is the nature of those types of additions so I use the glitter for the aesthetic rather than actual shaking. They may also get stuck to the acrylic pieces.

  • Shaker pieces may occasionally get stuck due to static or other pieces so just give it a good smack to loosen them.

Lanyards

♢ The safety clip has a right way up so please lock it in place appropriately!

Pins / Badges

♢ All pins/badges have a sharp point or latch, please be careful when using them!

♢ Avoiding dropping enamel pins on hard surfaces otherwise chipping may occur. Fingerprints and other oils may tarnish the metal over time. Occasional wiping with a soft cloth will help keep them clean.

Mousepads

♢ Fabric cleaning can be done with gentle bar soap and a SOFT toothbrush. Wet the soap and smoothly rub it in the soiled areas then GENTLY use the toothbrush (also wet). Then rinse with SLIGHTLY warm water and go over again with the toothbrush as needed. To dry, towel up excess moisture and hang it up to air dry. You may also use a hairdryer at a lower temperature.

♢ Best practice is to keep your hands and wrists clean! Oil and other dirt will eventually soil the pad but preventative care is best to extend the lifespan of the material.

♢ Wrinkling may occur on the pad's surface due to the way it was packed by the manufacturer. Keeping the pad flat and using it as normal will eventually even those wrinkles out.
